Healthcare in Sweden...
Friday, March 6, 2009 at 02:52PM Sweden is often hailed by many to be a socialist democratic mecca. One of the features of Sweden's government is "universal" or "socialized" healthcare. It's no secret that universal healthcare has been a dismal failure in all countries where it is instituted. Sweden is no exception. This new article brings to light some of the more dismal aspects of Sweden's particular brand of universal healthcare. A great read. Click here for the article.

Adam,
It is quite presumptuous of you to believe that our country will be like Sweden. We are a more sophisticated society and the Sweeds have never had a president like Obama. Justice is in equality, let me remind you. If one person is denied health care in the US, we should all be denied health care. Conversely, if the rich can have it then it must be available to the poor. If this means longer waiting periods, and the death of some members of society, at least these hardships will be shared by the populace. Get off your high horse and stand with the rest of America.
